A system for analysis of amino acid sequences has been developed using 16-bit personal computer with two IMB floppy disk drives. This system is composed of six executing progralns and one menu program. These programs are written in BASIC language and can perform amino acid sequence comparison, hydropathy index profile and dot matrix analysis. Datafiles are sequential and each file corresponds to one protein entry. The operations are interactive and are easy to use.
