University examinees are rank ordered on scholastic ability evaluated by the sum of their scores of subjects in an entrance examination. These ranks exhibit a degree of disarray with respect to their ranks on their university scores. In this paper, it comes to light that the ranks based on the first, second and third Principal Component calculated from the scores of examinees coincide fairly well with their rankings on the university scores. And it is also known that the first Principal Component is a synthetic value of the scholastic ability of an examinee and that the second and third Principal Component includes informations about his natural aptitude for liberal arts or science.
