Abstract
Six new halictine bee species from Southwest Archipelago, Japan, Lasioglossum (Evylaeus) solisortus ♀,♂; L. (E.) naitoi ♀; L. (E.) virideglaucum ♀,♂ (also from Yunnan, S. China, and Honshu, Japan) ; L. (E:) zipangu ♀; L. (E.) amamiense ♀ and L. (E.) smilodon ♀, ♂, spp. nov., are briefly described compared with some allied species for the necessity of quick naming.
