Abstract
This investigation was made to reveal the housewives' actual condition and consciousness of the home sewing. The subjects were 572 housewives living in Izumo City.
As a result of our study, we recognized that both the increasing of the housewives who worked outside their homes and mass production of the ready-made clothes resulted in markedly less home sewing. Therefore, we also recognized that the sewing eduation in school must be reviewed and then be modified. |
