Abstract
遅滞という概念は今日の学校教育においては，「学業不振」，「低学力」，「授業についていけない」等の問題としてとらえられ，それに基づいて研究がなされている。このことは，現在学校においてクラスの半数以上の子どもが授業についていけない状態にあると報告されるような危機的状況を示している。それゆえに，遅滞という包括的概念もとりわけ「学力」の問題にしぼって論じられている状況のようである。
