Descriptions	書写素材史の研究は，書写（手写）という行為にかかわる素材（用紙・筆具・硯などの類）とその使用方法，その結果である文字や綴字の方法，言語，また，文書・書物の形態や機能，等々を対象とする通時的研究である。本稿は，まず，貝葉文書・典籍をとりあげ，書写素材史上におけるその意義を明らかにしようとしたものである。
