看護学研究におけるリーダーシップ能力の測定尺度に関する文献検討

According to be revised Medical Care Policies in 2002, Japanese hospitals must have a Medical Safety Manager (same as a Risk Manager). Therefore, nursing risk managers have been nominated for this role in many hospitals. This study is intended to promote development of leadership scales for nursing risk managers, we reviewed literature from Ichushi Web and CiNii on measurement scales for leadership abilities. We found 14 studies that described the scales of nursing leadership, including 5 that developed new scales, and 9 that examined existent scales. We extracted the measurement scales for leadership in nursing and discussed the merits and limitations of each scale. None of these scales had a good enough fit to measure the leadership abilities of a nursing risk manager or qualify the functional performance of risk-management responsibilities. Because risk-manager leadership in medical areas is a new role that will be expected to promote changes in the conventional medical system and workplace climate, this literature review suggests that an novel measurement scale to measure risk-manager leadership abilities and function needs to be developed.

2002年の医療法改正に伴って病院に医療安全管理者(リスクマネジャー) の配属が義務づけられた。それによって,多くの病院で看護職がリスクマネジャーに任命されている。本稿は,看護職のリスクマネジャーのリーダーシップ尺度開発の促進をめざし,医学中央雑誌web 版とCiNiiを用いて,リーダーシップ能力の測定尺度について文献的検討を行った。看護職のリーダーシップ尺度を記載した文献は14件であり,このうち新たな尺度開発が5 件,既存尺度の活用が9件であった。看護職のリ一夕一シップ能力の測定尺度を抽出し,各々の尺度構成を検討した結果,いずれもリスクマネジャーの能力やその機能を測定するには不十分であった。 リスクマネジャーのリ一夕・一シップ研究については,従来の医療システムや職場風土の改革推進者としての新しい役割が期待されることから,リスクマネジメントの機能を取り入れた独自の尺度の開発が必要である。
