近世後期、出雲国母里藩の医家である大森泰輔は、自作の漢詩の中で、人間の尊さについて詠んでいる。この思想は、心学者でもあった彼が、朱子学の論理に基づきつつ到達したものであった。
OMORI Taisuke (1771-1857), physician and educator in Izumo, celebrated human dignity in his poems. He attained such humanistic attitudes toward learning based on Neo-Confucianism ("Heart Learning").
