内容記述(抄録等) | This paper clarifies Le Corbusier's (1887‐1965) spatial composition of standard cabinets as “equipment,” and it discusses the notion of “decor” in the 20th century. In his private house projects, Le Corbusier experimented with the standard cabinet as a partition separated from walls. However, he also examined cabinets incorporated into walls. Le Corbusier's realization of standard cabinets as expanded to both poles created a new notion of a “wall” and this was continued as methodology in the decorative arts.
