The purpose of this short article is to research into the condition of female's wages on the period of primary capital accumulation in Japan. Even general worker's wages, excepting the part of skilld worker in this period, wasn't sufficient wages for living expenses, and the ratios of female's wages to worker's one was 60 or thereabout percent in the initial stages of the government enterprises.
The female's wages was nothing but a minimun subsistence for hesrelf alone. Accordingly, it was only helfpful to reduce the number of mouths to feed for cutting her parent's household expenses. Therefore, this low female's wages was useful enough for the primary acculmulation of capital in Japan, but couldn't help herself household.
