From the results of the survey, it was found that facilities providing information by way of internet have, amongst other things, a much higher issue rate of public relations magazines, are more pro-active and faster in providing information, and are aiming to reach more people. But, it was also found that there is a difference between areas, in the awareness of staff, regarding the effectiveness of using internet as a tool to provide information. Furthermore, the lack of opportunity to learn and a high workload results in staff losing their enthusiasm and job satisfaction. In all, it is difficult to say that internet’s unique qualities are being adequately utilized by information providers ; however, on the other hand, the steady expansion of facility users and the revitalization of educational work are beginning to show results.
