In 2007, we, Shimane University, started the new carrier-intended educational program, which based on the students' their own experience and collaboration, to foster their social skills. This program primarily covers the young generation between the ages of 18 and 30, who are not regular employees and are under the unstable working conditions. We tried to establish the hybrid program to promote the student's societal ability which peruses the practical techniques in job hunting as well as the self-discovery/selfdevelopment in human relationships, in advantage of educational and research resources of this university. For students, this program can provide an opportunity to work with others under the instruction of the project with educational concerns. As a result, this program is able to build their confidence that they can manage to work with others to achieve some object. In that sense, this program is completely different from the existing carrier problems. The initiatives can be regarded as a one of the visible activities of the project, which realizes a constitution of this university that, as local public university, explicitly expresses to sustain the university itself and the regional prosperity.
