丹波帯から産出した後期石炭紀および前期ペルム紀放散虫化石

石炭紀の放散虫化石については,これまで主に下部石炭系からのAlbaillella科を中心とする放散虫化石の報告がされており,後期石炭紀のものについてはほとんど知られていなかった.今回,兵庫県多紀郡篠山町北方に分布する緑色岩にともなわれる後期石炭紀および,前期ペルム紀赤色層状チャート・珪質泥岩より,Pseudoalbaillella属放散虫化石を得た.この放散虫化石のうち3種(内,2種は新種)を記載するとともに,露頭内(厚さ約4m)において,放散虫化石および共産するコノドントの層位学的分布を検討した.

Concerning Carboniferous radiolarians, Albaillella and some related forms were recorded from Lower Carboniferous rocks, but occurrence in the Upper Carboniferous has not been reported. In this report, three species of Pseudoalbaillella (of which 2 are new) are described from the late Carboniferous and early Permian siliceous rocks in the Tamba Belt, Southwest Japan, and stratigraphic distribution of these radiolarians and coexisting conodonts are examined.
